Cookie notice
The cookie story here is short enough to read with your coffee. One cookie, one job — and a clear picture of what happens when a visitor presses play on an embed.
1. The one cookie we set
It's called sid, it's essential, and it does exactly one job: it keeps you signed in while you move around your dashboard. It's set when you log in, it's httpOnly (page scripts can't read it), it's sameSite=lax (other sites can't use it to act as you), and it expires after 30 days or the moment you log out.
That's the full list. We don't set a cookie to count views, to remember your theme preference, or to say hello. If you never log in, we never set a cookie on you at all.
2. What we don't set
No marketing cookies. No analytics cookies. No third-party cookies of our own. The view and click counters on your dashboard are built from aggregate numbers and daily-salted IP hashes rather than cookies — no raw IP addresses are stored, and there's no way to follow one visitor from page to page. 3. Embeds are the exception
Some pages include embedded players from YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Vimeo, TikTok and Twitch. We never load them automatically. A visitor sees a thumbnail or a link first, and the player only loads after they choose to play it.
At that moment, the provider can set its own cookies and see the request (including the visitor's IP address). That's a direct relationship between the visitor and that service, governed by that service's own policies — not by us. If a visitor never taps play, nothing loads and nothing is set.
4. How to clear cookies
Logging out ends your session and clears the sid cookie. In your dashboard, open Settings and choose Log out. In any browser, you can also clear or block cookies in Settings or Preferences — look for “cookies and site data” or “privacy”. If you block sid, pages will still load fine, but you won't be able to stay signed in.
